Open Calls

Types of Open Calls

As an artist-led, self-funded, independent arts organisation, covering our operational expenses is essential for our sustainability. Until we secure external funding, we need to implement charges for our open calls.

We offer artists two distinct participation models:

  • Group Exhibitions with Participation Fees
  • Juried Shows with Submission Fees

Please review the differences in the comparison table below to choose the best option for you.

Group Show (Participation Fee)

The fees differ because they cover costs in different ways.

Participation fees are higher because the costs are split among the artists.

Submission fees are lower because they rely on many artists paying, even if not all get to show their work, to gather enough money for the exhibition's expenses.
